Q2ID supports QuarkXPress 3.32 through 10, and runs under InDesign CS5, CS5.5, CS6, CC, or CC 2014. If you own a current, qualifying Q2ID License, you can use the License Link provided to you at the time of purchase, to access the update. Both platforms require a Licensed copy of Adobe InDesign (Perpetual License or Creative Cloud License) in order to run. Markzware, a software developer for the printing, publishing and graphic design industries, added QXPMarkz macOS, with InDesign 2021 support, to the Q2ID bundle.

Q2ID for Mac requires Mac OS X v10.7 or higher and Q2ID for Windows requires Win7 SP1, Win8, or Win8.1. Items converted from QuarkXPress include: color models, fonts and styles, text attributes, tables, layers, blends, runarounds, linked text boxes, anchored boxes, and Pantone and other color models. Q2ID translates many details of the content in a QuarkXPress (QXP) document and recreates it within an Adobe InDesign file (INDD document). The Q2ID Bundle Subscription (1 Year) includes both Mac and Win versions of Q2ID for InDesign CC 2014, CC, CS6, CS5.5 and CS5 (for a total of 10 InDesign plugins).
